Pastor: Rev. Dr. Alyssa Bell

Alyssa has served in ordained ministry for over a decade and is delighted to be a part of the Emmanuel community. In addition to pastoring, she teaches at both Portland Seminary and Whitworth Online and is certified as a Spiritual Director. Education: MDiv, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary; DMin, Portland Seminary; Spiritual Direction Certification, The Companioning Center Alyssa and her husband Matthew have two daughters and a spirited golden retriever. For fun, she loves working on puzzles, reading, resting with her family and going on long walks.

Committee of Elders

Our church is governed according to the rules of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and led by our Session of 6 elders. The session is moderated by our pastor.

The Mind Committee manages church administration and stewardship of the facility.

The Heart Committee arranges activities for the church and champions the giving of the church.

The Spirit Committee facilitates the expression of our faith in congregational worship and music.
