Facilities for Community Use at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church
Location
The church facilities are located at 1926 W. Chelan Ave. Conveniently located off of Northwest Boulevard, at the intersection of Chelan Ave & Cannon St. just a few blocks from the Ash and Maple Street corridor, making easy access from anywhere in Spokane. The church is also walking distance from Spokane Transit Bus routes #23 (Maple and Ash) and #22 (Northwest Bvd).
Parking
The church has 2 parking lots. The larger one is across the street from the main entrance of the church and is shared with a local business. It has 18 parking spots. The parking lot on the east side of the church has a disabled parking area as well as 7 other spots. Street side parking allows for an additional 30 spots.
Community Spaces
The Sanctuary
The Sanctuary is 1330 square ft. with seating in the pews for 220 people and seating for an extra 20 with folding chairs. The chancel has room for an additional 20 people. There is a specific area set aside for wheelchairs. The space is equipped with AC units, fans and central heating for comfort throughout the year.
The chancel contains a lectern and pulpit areas, extra seating, a working Allen organ, a grand piano and a choir area.
The sound system is a 3.1 speaker arrangement with a 20 channel mixer. The Sound system includes a wireless microphone, wireless lavalier/headset, Bluetooth, and at least 8 available XLR channels from the chancel. In addition,the digital mixer board is capable of record/playback. There is a PTZ HD camera/computer setup with recording/live stream capability.

Fellowship Hall
Fellowship Hall is 1590 sq. ft. (53 x 30 ft) of seating at rectangular tables = 127 or seating for round tables = 60. 3 banks of dimmable LED lights, 2 AC units and boiler-based heating make the space welcoming in any season.
On the west end of the Fellowship hall is a stage that is 25 feet wide and 20 feet deep. The stage can be lit with a combination of 3 banks of white, blue and amber lights. There is a PA system with a wireless microphone available.
The east side of Fellowship Hall is served by the open access counter to the kitchen which allows for pre-prepared food and drink to be served.

The following 3 rooms could be reserved for exclusive use:
Room A
Room A is 12 X 14 ft and wired for an office but can easily be used as a small classroom. (168 square feet).
Room C
Room C has a sink, and has been used as a nursery, but could easily be used as a crafting room or classroom. 26 x 12 (312 square feet).
Room B
Room B is the largest meeting/classroom space on the lowest level, at 40 x 17 feet (680 square feet).
Other rooms may be available on this lower level for limited use. Fire exits are clearly marked with backup lighting. The lower level is wheelchair accessible directly to the street level.

Facility Use Policies
Emmanuel Presbyterian Church is a non-profit entity. We are not a commercial facility. Therefore the activities and groups who use our facility need to understand that their activities must be consistent with the mission of the church to “serve” the community, not to make money at the expense of the participants. Emmanuel use fees are to defray the costs of opening and providing the building for others to use, therefore:
Groups who use the space will provide their own certificate of insurance removing any liability from Emmanuel for injuries or damages on site
Participants are expected to only use the room(s) covered in their use agreement (Guests should not visit other parts of the facility).
The room(s) used must be returned to the same condition they were in before the event began
Tables & Chairs returned to their original configuration, and all decorations and trash removed from the building
One time use rentals will require the presence of an Emmanuel member as a host throughout the event
No cooking on site is allowed. Participants may bring in food for the event and must dispose of it appropriately at the close of the event
No alcoholic beverages nor smoking are permitted on church property
